Task; Digital First Roster Modelling and Holding Company Pitch process

The Observatory International was appointed by Daimler Automotive Group (DAG) in early 2017 to assist with the development of a new Agency model designed to drive digital transformation for the Organisation on a worldwide basis.
Using multiple Observatory International offices, we undertook extensive discovery with DAG stakeholders worldwide to help inform the most appropriate model to meet future business needs.
The model itself was designed to work seamlessly with other DAG partners across the Globe including BBDO, Merkley & Partners and Antoni.
Once fully developed, the model structure was then used at the core of the pitch process, subsequently undertaken by three holding companies; Publicis Groupe, Omnicom and WPP.
The process, which completed with final pitches on November 2017, resulted in the appointment in January 2018 of Publicis Emil – a new agency comprising skill sets from throughout the Publicis Groupe network of Agencies and based in Berlin.
