Observatory International develops further in Germany and strengthens its team with Franziska von Lewinski
The Observatory International is bringing Franziska von Lewinski on board as Partner and Managing Director.
The renowned digital and marketing expert and former CEO will join the pitch and management consultancy on 1 April 2024.
Together with Ingrid Rudolph-Steffens, Partner and Managing Director of Observatory International Hamburg, Franziska von Lewinski will continue to expand the consultancy.
The Observatory International has been operating successfully in the German market for over 15 years, evolving from a pure pitch consultancy to a dynamic management consultancy specializing in complex marketing management and organisational restructuring.
With a presence in key global markets, The Observatory International was awarded as one of the Forbes World’s Best Management Consulting Firms in 2022/23. The German office of the global consultancy is based in Hamburg and serves a diverse clientele including prominent companies such as Lufthansa, BayWa, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, and more.
The consultancy excels in providing strategic counsel to senior management and marketing departments, enabling them to navigate today’s marketing, sales, and digitalization landscape with greater sustainability, purpose, and success.
The Observatory’s expertise spans advising on pitch strategies, optimizing the agency ecosystem, crafting sustainable agency and remuneration models, and enhancing collaboration between advertising firms and marketing agencies. We guide clients in developing tailored processes, tools, and performance metrics to align with their objectives. Our core services encompass pitch consulting, performance evaluation, and fostering enduring client relationships.
“We are pleased to welcome Franziska von Lewinski to our team, bringing with her extensive industry expertise. Her profound knowledge, particularly in strategic consulting, digital communication, marketing, and agency management, significantly enhances the value we offer to our clients”, says Ingrid Rudolph-Steffens.
Franziska von Lewinski joins from the SYZYGY Group, where she served as CEO until the end of 2023. With over 20 years of experience in the digital and consulting sectors, including over a decade in C-level roles, she brings invaluable expertise to our team.
“My objective is to enhance collaboration between companies and marketing agencies in a sustainable manner, ensuring optimal utilization of available budgets,” explains Franziska von Lewinski. “Through Observatory International, I have the privilege to provide focused guidance and support to companies and brands, enabling them to align effectively with their agency partners and achieve mutual success. I eagerly anticipate a rewarding partnership and engaging projects ahead.”
Observatory International continues the successful journey of the former pure pitch consultancy The Observatory, which was brought to the German market in 2008 by consulting and marketing expert John Sealey. Sealey left the company last year to pursue his passions and to concentrate fully on his coaching company.
Finally, and unrelated to Franziska von Lewinski’s arrival, Felicitas Lentz gave up her role as Managing Director at the end of January and is taking a few months sabbatical.
