Task: Media Agency Model design for Government of Canada
Observatory International was contracted to undertake a review process to determine the future media requirements of the Government of Canada and its various Institutions and departments. The objective was to provide recommendations on the structure and services of the Agency of Record and to set-out the technical foundation for future procurement requirements of advertising media services.
The Observatory International undertook a rigorous discovery and diagnosis process that unearthed key design principles for a new media model that would meet the future requirements of GC departments. Multiple agency models were explored and stress tested against key selection criteria.
At the conclusion of the process two models were recommended as most suitable for Government of Canada, and a full recommendations report was delivered to the client, including detailed model descriptions and considerations to enable an effective activation of each model.
