Danny Hill has joined The Observatory International as Managing Partner of Greater China & South East Asia and will work alongside Sandy Burns to support the consultancy’s continuing growth in Hong Kong, China and the wider region.
He brings with him more than 15 years’ client-side global and regional marketing experience from the luxury automotive industry. Most recently, Danny directed the sales and marketing for INFINITI motor company across Asia Pacific working with teams in key markets to drive brand growth.
His extensive client-side marketing experience, combined with existing Managing Partner of Greater China & South East Asia Sandy Burn’s brand strategy and consulting experience, strengthens Observatory International’s position across the region, with its regional hub in Hong Kong and consultants in Korea and Japan.
Asia will be a critical region to watch as the world starts to recover from the Coronavirus lockdown and Observatory International’s ability to understand how brands manage this process will provide important insights for its global client base.
Consultancy co-founder Stuart Pocock said: “Danny will be a strong asset and a great leader of Observatory International within the region, his vast client-side experience and detailed knowledge of the local markets will be of huge value in supporting brands that are seeking to optimise their marketing resources.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining Observatory International and looking forward to working with Sandy to provide insights and advice to businesses taking on the challenge of developing smarter marketing organisations and better ways of working,” said Danny Hill.
