Task; Lead strategic and creative agency search and selection process for Heathrow Airport Ltd

As one of Europe’s largest airports and one of the world’s top international aviation hubs, Heathrow Airport is a large and complex business with diverse communication needs.
In response to the pandemic and to ensure continued growth and success across key business areas of brand, travel, product and services division. Heathrow appointed The Observatory International to support them in identifying a lead strategic and creative partner to deliver against these key areas.
A search and selection process identified agencies who would be a strong strategic partner to Heathrow and who also had the capabilities to unify Heathrow’s complex marketing communications in line with their commercial growth agenda as well as deliver a significant number of campaigns annually.
Following chemistry meetings, four agencies were taken through a pitch process and the account was subsequently handed to London based agency St Luke’s.
